Mary Reid International Spa Academy

The Mary Reid International Spa Academy was founded in 1954 and is now one of the oldest and most well established therapy Schools in the UK. Over the last five decades, Mary Reid has become recognised throughout the world as one of the very best places for therapy students to 'learn their trade'. The school is proud to uphold Mary Reid's commitment to excellence, maintaining high standards of training that helps graduates develop successful, fulfilling careers.

In the rapidly evolving global Spa Industry Mary Reid International Spa Academy is at the forefront of educating the industry leaders of tomorrow. The Academy syllabus delivers a complete skill set for the modern Spa Professional, providing the sector with expertly trained students with well rounded skills and abilities not just in therapy but across every aspect of Spa Operations and management. The Academy remains the only one its kind in Scotland to offer Full and Part Time ITEC and CIDESCO courses, providing its students with world class qualifications. 

The Academy offers six month to one year full-time undergraduate courses, and two year part time courses for those undergoing a career change and are still working, as well as shorter Postgraduate courses for qualified Spa and Beauty Therapists. We also offer additional day and weekly courses for students with no prior qualifications.

The Academy also provides excellent training facilities for Leading Skin Care Product Houses.
