Injury Prevention Massage

Course Details

This course is designed to deliver a deep tissue massage without the risk of producing strain upon the therapist’s hands and wrist joints. 

Massage is a long-established and popular treatment but in recent years the numbers of cases of RSI related injuries amongst therapists has dramatically increased. Injury prevention massage aims to cut out the risk of RSI to the therapist by introducing a new way of delivering a deep tissue massage

Practical demonstration of the correct use of body weight and posture is emphasised to enable delivery of an effective massage which reaches deep into the muscle fascia and tissue to help ease muscle tension and spasm.

Course Requirements

This candidate must be a qualified Massage Therapist, Body Therapist or Physiotherapist. An Anatomy & Physiology diploma is a pre-requisite for this course

4 Days, with a practical assessment on the final day of the course

£512.00 inc vat

Qualification

A certificate in Injury Prevention Massage is awarded upon successful completion of the full four day course including the practical assessment
