Course Details

Manicures are one of the most popular treatments and there is a high demand for therapists with good manicure skills.

The word “manicure” literally means care of the hands and this course is designed to educate and equip the therapist with the necessary skills to enhance the natural appearance of the hands and nails.

The skills learned in this course are essential skills which will form the basis for any future training in nail enhancements and spa treatments.

• Professional ethics
• Client consultation
• Contra-Indications and Nail Diseases and Disorders
• Nail Anatomy
• Full Manicure Procedure
• Luxury Manicure with warm oil and paraffin wax
• Nail Painting
• French Manicure

Course Requirements

This course is designed for students with no prior knowledge or experience of nail care

Course Length

Three days with the final day being a practical assessment of clients and a theory assessment

Qualification

A Mary Reid Certificate in Manicure, which is fully accredited by BABTAC
